Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR) · Nha Trang
Cam Ranh Airport Fast Track
Someone waits for you off the plane at Terminal 2 and walks you to the priority lane at passport control, past the main queue. Available on arrival and departure.
Book fast track
Cam Ranh airport fast track is a meet-and-assist service for international passengers at Terminal 2, the international terminal of Nha Trang's airport. It is run by private operators and sold online, for example on Klook.
It covers the passport-control queue, the slowest part of arriving in Nha Trang when several flights land together. It does not cover your visa or your bags: you still need a visa or visa exemption, and checked luggage takes as long as it takes.

How Nha Trang airport fast track works on arrival
From booking to the arrivals hall of Terminal 2.
-
Book by the day before
Give your flight number and landing date. Enter your name exactly as in your passport. The voucher arrives on your phone within minutes and is valid only for that date. Support may contact you on WhatsApp.
-
Off the plane
Your greeter waits where your plane parks; see the meeting point below.
-
Priority lane
At passport control you skip the long line for foreign passports and use the priority counters. Have your passport and visa ready; a visa-on-arrival fee is paid at the counter.
-
Baggage belt
Collect your bags yourself. When several flights land at once, the belts are the next wait, and fast track does not shorten it.
-
Customs and exit
Through customs and a last bag check to the arrivals hall. With the car option, your driver takes you on to your hotel in Nha Trang.
When Cam Ranh airport fast track pays off
Late-night arrivals
Many international flights land between 23:00 and 02:00, several within the same hour, and the queue for foreign passports builds with each one.
Early-morning charters
Many charter flights land between 3 and 8 a.m., especially in the October–April season.
High season
Queues are longest at Tet and in the summer holidays; Khanh Hoa province itself has named peak-hour congestion at immigration as a problem.
With children
Children pay the adult price, so a family pays more, but it spares small children a 2 a.m. queue.
Flying home
Departure queues stack up: check-in, passport control, then security. Travellers have reached passport control as boarding was called.
Where fast track starts
All international flights use Terminal 2; Terminal 1 is for domestic flights only.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I book Cam Ranh airport fast track?
- Online, by the day before your flight at the latest; it cannot be booked on the day. Choose the date you land: on a flight landing after midnight, that is the day after you take off. If a delay moves your landing past midnight, message support. Confirmation comes within minutes.
- Is Cam Ranh airport fast track worth it?
- It depends on the hour you land. On a quiet daytime arrival, travellers have cleared immigration in under 20 minutes without it. It is worth it on late-night and early-morning arrivals, when several international flights land together, with children, and on departure when time is short.
- How long is the immigration queue at Cam Ranh?
- With fast track, usually 10–30 minutes. Without it, anything from a few minutes to 1–3 hours at the worst peaks, when flights from Korea, Russia and China arrive at once.
- Do I still need a visa with fast track?
- Yes. The service shortens the line, not the paperwork. Any nationality can apply for a Vietnamese e-visa of up to 90 days on the government e-visa site, which also shows who may enter without one; that list changes several times a year. A visa on arrival needs approval before you fly, and its fee is paid at the airport.
- Does fast track get my luggage out sooner?
- No. Your suitcase rides the same carousel as everyone's, and no option includes help with luggage. At peak times the belts are slow at Cam Ranh, so expect a wait there even after a quick passport control.
- What if I can't find the greeter?
- Look for your name or a Klook logo at the door, the bridge or the terminal entrance. If you see no one, message support on WhatsApp before joining the main queue.
- What if my plans change?
- Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the service date. The voucher works only on the date you booked, so a new date means a new booking.
- Can I use the automated gates instead?
- Not as a tourist. The automated gates at Terminal 2 are for Vietnamese citizens; foreigners can use them only with a Vietnamese residence card.
- Is there fast track for domestic flights?
- Not this one: it covers international flights at Terminal 2 only. Domestic flights use Terminal 1.
- How do I get from Cam Ranh airport to Nha Trang?
- Central Nha Trang is about 30 km away, 40–60 minutes by road and up to 75 minutes in the 17:00–19:00 rush hour. A taxi to the centre costs about 300,000–400,000 VND; bus No. 18 costs about 50,000–70,000 VND per person but runs only from 4:30 to 21:55. The fast-track car option covers hotels in central Nha Trang only; resorts on Bai Dai beach are much closer to the airport.
